Terms of Service

When You Commission Me

You are confirming that you agree to these terms. Failure to adhere to these terms will blacklist you from commissioning me again in the future.

General Terms and Process

  • I reserve the right to decline any commission for any reason.

  • My turnaround is usually one to two weeks, though my college schedule and part time job outside of my freelance work make that vary. For this reason, I can not guarantee completion of the commission by a specific date, though I can do my best if you want it done by a specific time.

  • I will send an invoice after the first rough sketch is approved. I will not move on from that sketch until payment is received.

  • Upon completion, I can email you the full resolution files with and without the watermark.

  • You can check my progress on your commission at any time on my Trello.

  • Major edits (like the pose, position of limbs, general body type, etc.) should be requested during the initial sketch if possible. If requested later in the process, I may ask for an editing fee.

  • Minor edits (Things like eye direction, missing jewelry, etc.) can be requested at any time, but if they become excessive (add a lot of extra work time), I may ask for an editing fee.

  • If I or the commissioner notice something I missed that was clear on the ref sheet, I will fix it free of charge. If it was not clear on the provided reference and I am asked to fix it after the commission is completed, I may ask for a small editing fee.

  • The commissioner may ask for a reasonable number of edits during the sketch and lining phase. However, I do not currently do character design commissions. If I feel that I am being asked to design/redesign a character for the commissioner, I will either add an extra fee or cancel the commission outright.

  • I will not work with piecemeal or written references. As long as the commissioner has at least one solid reference image that I can work from, that is fine, but again, I am not currently doing design work as a commission type. Please know what your character looks like before commissioning me.

On Editing Fees

The commissioner may ask for edits, but if major edits are requested after completion of lineart or during/after coloring, and/or if many minor edits are requested throughout, I can add an editing fee if I feel it is adding a significant amount of time to my work. This will be calculated based on the amount of time added.

I ask commissioners to do their best to know what they want ahead of time and request any edits as early as possible to save time and avoid any upcharges!

The Commissioner May

  • Ask me for progress pictures at any time, though they will also be periodically uploaded to Trello

  • Ask me not to post a commission, though I do reserve the right to share progress pictures on my Discord or with personal acquaintances for input at my discretion.

  • Ask to cancel at any time, albeit not for a full refund (see details below).

  • Use the commission for physical merchandise (Like stickers, shirts, etc.) so long as they are not used for commercial purposes. (i.e. you're not making money off of it)

  • Make minor edits to a commission after it is completed or color lineart commissions so long as I am still credited.

  • Post their commission on social media so long as the watermark is present and I am credited. My tumblr, Instagram, or toyhouse (JemWolf for any of them) would be perfect for this.

The Commissioner May NOT

  • Take credit for my work

  • Repost without my watermark

  • Trace or heavily reference my art (For personal use is okay. Feel free to ask for details.)
  • Use my art in any way shape or form for NFT, AI, or Crypto.
  • Use my art for commercial purposes without permission (ex: Making stickers of it with the intent to sell.) If you do intend to use my art for commercial purposes, let me know so we can work out different pricing.

Accepted Payment Methods

Once a commission is confirmed I will send an invoice through one of the following:

  • PayPal

  • Venmo

  • KoFi

DO NOT send any money before I send an invoice. If I receive any money outside of an invoice, I will interpret it as a tip and I will not refund it.

Refunds and Cancellations

  • I do not ask for payment until after the initial rough sketch, so if you ask to cancel before then there is no charge

  • I can only do a full refund if I haven't finished the commission yet. Once the refined sketch is done, it can only be a partial refund from there.

  • If lineart is complete and coloring has not begun, I will refund the difference between a lineart only and colored commission.

  • If lineart or color have been started but not completed, I will refund based on the amount of time I already spent working on it.

  • If the commission has been completely finished, I will not issue a refund. If the commissioner has issues with the commission, they should be voiced while I am working on it.

  • If I personally can not finish your commission for any reason, I will issue a full refund.
